A client tells his advisor: "I want to retire by 55, and I want my daughter's education fund ready in 10 years."

Where does that go? In notes? An Excel sheet? The advisor's head?

If it's any of these, that goal is basically lost. Nobody can report on it, nobody can track it, and when the advisor forgets, the client feels it.

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud gives you Financial Plans and Financial Goals: one place to create, track and review every client goal, so advisors can actually help clients get there.

Financial Plan & Goals in FSC. #shorts #financialservicescloud #finstagram #fsc #financialeducation

Looking to help your wealth advisors track and execute their clients' goals seamlessly? 🚀

In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn how to configure and use the Financial Plan and Financial Goal features inside Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).

Leaving client goals trapped inside loose notes, Excel sheets, or just an advisor's memory is a fast track to losing clients. Salesforce FSC solves this by keeping all financial plans and concrete metrics (like retirement planning, saving for a child's education, or buying a dream home) in one centralized, trackable workspace.

What you will learn in this video:
• 🎯 The core difference between a Financial Goal and a Financial Plan.
• 👤 How to create a new financial goal against a client account (John Smith).
• 🤝 Setting up goal priorities, target values, target dates, and assigning multiple goal members.
• 📈 Linking financial plans to specific client records and associating goals with them.
• ⚙️ Admin Guide: The exact feature settings and permissions you need to enable in the Salesforce Setup Org to get started.

How to Setup Financial Summary Rollup in Salesforce FSC | EP 09

Record Rollup Definitions are the standard-object way to roll RECORDS up to a household
in Financial Services Cloud.

First I explain what the feature actually is and walk through one real use case — an
advisor who opens a household and cannot see any of the family's cases. Then we go
straight into the org and build the whole thing live, start to finish.

We build the exact example Salesforce Help uses — rolling Cases up to a household via
Account Contact Relation — so you can cross-check everything against the documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- What a Record Rollup Definition is, and how it differs from Rollup By Lookup
- The three building blocks: objects, join fields, filters
- How to pick a bridge object when source and target are not directly linked
- Why Account can be a target but never a source
- Why the Contains operator does not mean "contains"
- Why activating a definition is not enough, and what Sync actually does
- How to surface the results with the ShowRecordRollupResults card

THE WORKED EXAMPLE
Rollup Source Object ......... Case
Intermediate Object .......... Account Contact Relation
Rollup Target Object ......... Party Relationship Group
Join field on Case ........... ContactId
Join field on ACR ............ AccountId
Filter on Case ............... Priority Equals High

What Are Record Rollup Definitions? FSC Demo From Scratch | EP 08

Financial Services Cloud has four different features, all called some version of "rollup" — and choosing the wrong one usually surfaces in UAT, on a joint account, when the number is wrong.
This episode covers all four: Record Rollups, Rollup By Lookup (RBL), Rollup Definitions, and Financial Summary Rollup. What each one actually does, how the managed package versions differ from the standard-object versions, why 52 RBL rules became 8 DPE definitions, and a three-question test that takes you to the right engine every time.

Episode 7 of the complete Financial Services Cloud course — basics to advanced.
